This edition of my favorite things is all about my favorite makeup for everyday use. This is what I use most days to create a natural, yet flawless look.
First, I start with Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer, a little bit goes a long way and I find that a tube of this can last me for a good while.
Then, I use my Naked Basics pallet. I typically use W.O.S. all over my lid and then Naked 2 in the crease for a really natural look.
I discovered this 2 dollar Waterproof Eyeliner from e.l.f. in coffee and I am a convert. It work great and lasts all day, but at the end of the day it easily comes off when I wash my face with cleansing water. I also find it looks more natural than the black eyeliner I used to gravitate towards.
For my brows, I use a eyebrow cake powder from NYX in taupe. Another bargain coming in at $5.99, but mostly I just love how idiot proof it is to use.
Lastly, my lashes I am addicted to the volume and length I get from Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
First, I prime my face with Benefit’s Porefessional Face Primer. This really does make your pores look smaller and helps your foundation go on smoothly. I used to never use foundation because I just assumed using foundation would equal a cakey mess on my face. Then I discovered NARS sheer glow foundation and I became a convert. It goes on with pretty sheer coverage and then you can build more coverage in the areas you need it most. I use a moist beauty blender to apply my foundation. I then apply NARS radiant creamy concealer, which never creates cracks in my eye crinkles and looks so natural. I have darker under eye circles, and I was constantly battling with products that were too heavy until I started using this product. Lastly, I use NARS pressed powder to set the makeup.
During the fall and winter, I am partial to Benefit’s blush in Dallas and during the spring and summer months I use NARS blush in orgasm. Year round, I use NARS bronzer in Laguna and Watts Up from Benefit as a highlighter.
I totally believe in setting my makeup for the day and I do think it helps it last all day. I use Urban Decay’s Allnighter Makeup Setting Spray. However, when I get home I want all of my makeup to come off easily when I am ready for it to. I like that all of these products come off easily at night when I use my cleansing water.
This is probably where I experiment the most and I am constantly using different glosses and lipsticks. So, I would be impossible for me recommend just one product. I do have a lot of NYX butter gloss and I probably use that the most.
This makeup routine takes about ten minutes and leaves me feeling confident about my skin and makeup all day long.
None of these products are sponsored links, these are just the products I am addicted to.
