I have a slight subscription box addiction.  I love sampling the newest products and receiving a present (that I pay for) in the mail each month.  Glossybox is one I have been subscribing to for a while.  Glossybox costs $21 dollars a month, but it is cheaper if you opt for a 6-month or annual subscription.

Right now they are offering a free Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Angled Brush with code LUXIEBRUSH on you first box.

Each Glossybox comes with a pamphlet with a description of each item you receive and its value.  Usually there are a couple of items that differ between boxes.

Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator by Vasanti Cosmetics

This is a cream gel designed to exfoliate your skin as you cleanse.  I have received this product before in another subscription box and while it does the job it has never been exciting enough for me to purchase on my own, especially since it is pricey for a cleanser.

A full size of this product is $34.00, the value of the .7 oz sample is about $6.50.

Ultra Matte Lip by Colourpop Cosmetics

I was super excited to receive two full size products from Colourpop.  I love a matte lip and can totally see myself wearing both of these shades.

They are valued at $6 apiece, bringing the total value to $12.

Maxlash Volumizer Mascara by Doucce

This product has a extra large brush designed to give you lots of volume and length.

This product came in a full size and is valued at $22.

The next two products are a part of the box where other subscribers can receive different products than you.

Paris Et Moi Eau De Parfum by Jafra Cosmetics International

I am super picky about perfume, so initially I wasn’t thrilled to see one in my box, however I ended up loving this scent.  It is described as having notes of “Mara strawberries, rose petal macaron, and creamy silky wood.”

A full size of this eau de parfum costs $52, the sample size is values at $7.

For Feet’s Sake Intense Repair Spa Foot Butter by Aromafloria

I am obsessed with moisturizing and always have to have a foot and hand cream in my bedside drawer, so I was thrilled to have another one to keep on hand.

This product is valued at $4.

Beauty Shampoo and Conditioner

This is considered a bonus product (glossyboxes typically come with 5 products).  This is a mystery product and is described as a “well-known shampoo and conditioner duo that has recently been reformulated,” we do not yet know what brand it is.  They want glossies to try the product and rate it on a survey that comes out on 4/15/2017.

The total value of this box is approximately $51.50, not including the mystery shampoo and conditioner.  Overall, I was happy with the value of the box, but hope to see more high end skin care products in my next box.  I am glad that the matte lip products were in shade that I consider to be wearable for me.

See you next month with another Glossybox review.
